ROUTE 29 (LEE HIGHWAY) / GAINESVILLE
I-66 East between Prince William Parkway and Groveton Road
Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2: 11 a.m. to noon
Temporary 15-minute stoppages of traffic for blasting operations.
I-66 East from Route 29 Gainesville and Route 234 Business (Sudley Road)

Single and multi-lane closures will be implemented for extended paving operations. The HOV lane will be closed indefinitely. Between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. daily, three travel lanes will be open to traffic. Between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily, two lanes will be closed, leaving two travel lanes open. Between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. nightly, three lanes will be closed, leaving one travel lane open.
ROUTE 234 BUSINESS (SUDLEY ROAD) / MANASSAS
I-66 East between Prince William Parkway and Groveton Road

Ramp from Route 234 Business to I-66 West
Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The ramp will be closed. Drivers will be detoured to Route 29 South, then follow signs to I-66 West. As an alternate route, drivers on Route 234 Business South can turn right on Balls Ford Road, and drivers on Route 234 Business North can turn left on Balls Ford Road, turn left on to Prince William Parkway North, then stay to the left and follow signs to I-66 West
I-66 East from Route 29 Gainesville and Route 234 Business (Sudley Road)

Route 28 South will be reduced to one travel lane for overhead bridge work.
Route 28 North from Upperridge Drive to I-66
Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Route 28 North will be reduced to one travel lane for crews to restripe roadway and implement a traffic shift.
Ramp from Route 28 North to I-66 East
Beginning on or about Saturday morning, September 26
The current ramp from Route 28 North to I-66 East will close during overnight hours. Drivers on Route 28 North will access I-66 East using a new, temporary ramp approximately 250 feet farther north on Route 28.
Ramp from Route 29 South to Route 28 North
Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The ramp will be closed. Traffic will be directed to continue south on Route 29, follow signs to I-66 East, stay to the right to exit to I-66 East, then take the exit for Route 28 North.
Ramp from Route 29 North to Route 28 North
Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The ramp will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to the Route 29 Centreville/I-66 East interchange, exit to I-66 East, then take the exit for Rout 28 North.
Route 28 North at I-66

The right lane of Route 28 North at I-66 will remain closed to provide an extended merge lane for the ramp from I-66 East to Route 28 North.
ROUTE 286 (FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY) / FAIR LAKES

The right lane will be closed for bridge work.

Wednesday, September 30, through Friday, October 2: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-66 West will be reduced to one travel lane approaching Route 123 for overhead gantry removal. Drivers should expect slowdowns and periodic stoppages of up to 20 minutes between midnight and 4 a.m.

ROUTE 243 (NUTLEY STREET) / VIENNA
Ramp from I-66 West to Nutley Street
Sunday, September 27, through Friday, October 2: midnight to 4 a.m.
The ramp will be closed. Traffic will be directed to continue west on I-66, take the exit for the Vienna/Fairfax/GMU Metro, stay to the right onto Country Creek Road, continue on to Virginia Center Boulevard, and turn left at the traffic signal to Nutley Street North.
I-66 East from Nutley Street to Cedar Lane
Monday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 29: 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-66 East will be reduced to one travel lane for crews to implement lane shifts.
Drivers should expect periodic slowdowns and stoppages of up to 20 minute between midnight and 4 a.m.
Cedar Lane between Hilltop Drive and Cottage Street

Cedar Lane over I-66 will be closed for demolition and reconstruction of the bridge.

Ramp from I-495 North Express Lanes to I-66 West
Monday, September 28: 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The ramp will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to I-66 East, to Route 7, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal, stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 West.
I-66 East from Cedar Lane to Gallows Road
Wednesday, September 30, and Friday, October 2: 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-66 East will be reduced to one travel lane for overhead bridge work at Gallows Road.
Drivers should expect slowdowns and periodic stoppages between midnight to 4 a.m.
Prosperity Avenue at Dorr Avenue
Sunday, September 27, through Saturday, October 3: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Flagging operation for underground utility work.
Dorr Avenue at Prosperity Avenue

Dorr Avenue will be closed at Prosperity Avenue for underground utility work. Traffic will be detoured to Merrifield Avenue, Merrilee Drive, and Prosperity Avenue. Dorr Avenue south of Prosperity Avenue will remain open to local traffic.
I-495 North and South Between Route 7 and Route 29
