ROUTE 28 (SULLY ROAD) / CENTREVILLE

I-66 West from Route 28 to Route 29 Centreville

Sunday, October 20: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Monday, October 21- Tuesday, October 22: 9 p.m. to 10 a.m.

Two lanes closed for paving operations.

Monday, October 21: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Temporary ramp closure for paving operations. Traffic will be detoured to make a left hand turn from Route 29 South to the Route 29 North exit to I-66 West.

Monday, October 21: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Temporary ramp closure for paving operations. Traffic will be detoured to the Route 28 South exit from I-66 West, then take the Route 29 South exit from Route 28 South.

Tuesday, October 22: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Temporary ramp closure for paving operations. Traffic will be detoured to continue further north on Route 29, stay to the left to make a U-turn onto southbound Route 29 at the traffic signal for Trinity Parkway, then stay to the right to take the exit to I-66 West.

I-66 East from Route 29 Centreville to Route 28

Wednesday, October 23 – Friday, October 25: 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Two right lanes closed for paving operations.  Additionally there will be period stoppages and slowdowns on the ramp from I-66 East to Route 29.

Friday, October 25: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Temporary ramp closure for paving operations. Traffic will be detoured to continue further east on I-66 to the exit for Route 28 North, stay to the left to make a U-turn onto southbound Route 28 at the traffic signal to Braddock Road, then head south on Route 28 to Route 29.

Sunday, October 20 – Monday, October 21: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Two lanes closed each night for crews to install bridge beams over Route 28.  The ramp and two left turn lanes from Route 28 South to I-66 East will also be closed each night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.  Traffic will be detoured south on Route 28 to the Route 29 (Lee Highway) interchange, exit to Route 29 North, then stay right to take Route 28 North to the ramp for I-66 East.

Tuesday, October 22 – Thursday, October 24: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Two lanes closed on northbound Route 28.  Drivers should expect periodic 20 minute stoppages and slowdowns.

Tuesday, October 22 – Thursday, October 24: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The ramp from I-66 East to Route 28 South will be closed for crews to install bridge beams.  Traffic will be detoured to the exit for Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) North, then stay to the right to follow signs to I-66 West back to Route 28 Nort

Monday, October 21– Friday, October 25: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Virginia State Police will pace eastbound and westbound traffic in this area to a slow roll, with temporary stoppages possible, for blasting operations along I-66 between Route 29 in Centreville and Stringfellow Road. Slow roll conditions should last for approximately 15 minutes. Additionally, stoppages will also occur on the ramp from Route 28 South to I-66 West and the ramp from Route 29 Centreville to I-66 East starting at 11 a.m.

ROUTE 286 (FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY)

ROUTE 50 / FAIRFAX

ROUTE 123 (CHAIN BRIDGE ROAD) / OAKTON – CITY OF FAIRFAX

ROUTE 243 (NUTLEY STREET) / VIENNA

I-66 East from Blake Lane to Nutley Street

Monday, October 21 – Friday, October 25: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Saturday, October 26: 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Four lanes of I-66 East closed for demolition of Vaden Drive bridge span over I-66 East.  From 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. all traffic on I-66 East will be diverted to the eastbound collector-distributor lane.  All lanes will be reopened by 5 a.m.

I-495 (CAPITAL BELTWAY)

I-66 West from I-495 to Gallows Road

Sunday, October 6– Saturday, October 12: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Two left lanes closed on westbound I-66 for new Gallows Road bridge construction in center median.  The ramp from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to westbound I-66 will be closed nightly.  I-495 Express Lane North traffic will be detoured to the exit for I-66 East to the Route 7 (Leesburg), take a left off the exit and stay to the right to follow signs to I-66 West.
