ROUTE 29 / GAINESVILLE

I-66 West from Sudley Road to Route 29 Gainesville

Wednesday, November 14: 11 a.m. to 12 noon

Friday, November 16: 11 a.m. to 12 noon

Virginia State Police will pace westbound traffic in this area to a slow roll, with temporary stoppages possible, for blasting operations at the Gainesville Park and Ride lot. Slow roll conditions should last for approximately 15 minutes. Additionally, stoppages will also occur on the ramp from Prince William Parkway (Route 234 Bypass) to I-66 West starting at 11 a.m. The left lane of eastbound I-66 at Route 29 Gainesville may be blocked as well.

ROUTE 234 (SUDLEY ROAD) / MANASSAS

Sunday, November 11: 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Three lanes closed to implement long-term lane shifts for construction. Drivers should expect occasional 20-minute stoppages and slowdowns along westbound I-66.

ROUTE 28 (SULLY ROAD) / CENTREVILLE

Ramp from I-66 West to Route 28 North

Wednesday, November 14: midnight to 4 a.m.

Temporary closure of the ramp from westbound I-66 to northbound Route 28. Traffic will be detoured to the exit for Route 28 South where drivers will stay to the right to take the exit for Route 29 North then follow signs back to Route 28 North.

Thursday, November 15: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Two right lanes closed for work on the traffic signal at the ramp to I-66 East.  Drivers should expect intermittent 20-minute stoppages along northbound Route 28.  Additionally, drivers should expect occasional 20-minutes rolling slowdowns and stoppages on southbound Route 28.

ROUTE 286 (FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY)

I-66 West from Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) to Monument Drive

Wednesday, November 14 – Thursday, November 15: 9:30pm to 5 a.m.

Friday, November 16: 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Three lanes closed to implement long-term lane shifts for construction. Drivers should expect occasional 20-minute stoppages and slowdowns along westbound I-66.

ROUTE 50 / FAIRFAX

I-66 West from Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) to Monument Drive

Friday, November 16: 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

ROUTE 123 (CHAIN BRIDGE ROAD) / OAKTON – CITY OF FAIRFAX
