I-66 West from Compton Road to Route 29 (Lee Highway) Gainesville
Sunday, July 31: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Monday, August 1, through Thursday, August 4: 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Friday, August 5: 9:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, August 6: 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Two lanes will be closed nightly for paving.
I-66 West from Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) to Route 29 (Lee Highway) Gainesville
Sunday, July 31, through Tuesday, August 2: 7 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
One lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day for paving. Between 8 p.m. and 11 a.m., two lanes will be closed.
I-66 East from Route 29 (Lee Highway) to Groveton Road
Wednesday, August 3, and Thursday August 4: 8 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Two lanes will be closed nightly for paving.
I-66 East and West between Route 15 and Compton Road
Daily through Friday, August 26: Eastbound 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m./Westbound 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
One lane will be closed for lighting and utility work.

Sunday, July 31, through Tuesday, August 2: 7 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
One lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day for paving. Between 8 p.m. and 11 a.m., two lanes will be closed.
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) North and South
Wednesday, August 3, and Thursday, August 4: midnight to 4 a.m.
The ramp will be closed both nights for lighting installation. Drivers will be directed to continue farther west, exit to Route 29 (Lee Highway) North Gainesville, stay to the left on the ramp and turn left at the traffic signal on to Route 29 South, then stay to the right to reach I-66 East and follow signs to Route 234 Business.
Ramp from I-66 West to Manassas Safety Rest Area
Tuesday, August 2: 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The ramp will be closed for paving.
I-66 East and West between Route 15 and Compton Road
Daily through Friday, August 26: Eastbound 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m./Westbound 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

ROUTE 28 (SULLY ROAD) / CENTREVILLE
I-66 West at Route 28
Saturday, July 30: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Sunday, July 31 will be used as back up should inclement weather occur)
Westbound I-66 approaching Route 28 will be closed for overhead beam installation. All traffic will be directed to exit to Route 28 North, travel to the Westfields Boulevard West exit, stay to the right to Route 28 South, then follow signs to I-66 West. Drivers traveling to Route 28 South will follow the same detour route. The ramp to Braddock Road/Walney Road from I-66 West will remain open.
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 28 South
Saturday, July 30, and Wednesday, August 3: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The ramp will be closed for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be detoured farther west to Route 29 Centreville, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 29 North, then follow signs to Route 28 South.
Route 28 North from Route 29 (Lee Highway) Centreville to Braddock Road
Monday, August 1, through Saturday, August 6: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Two lanes will be closed nightly for overhead beam installation. Drivers should expect periodic stoppages during the overnight hours.
I-66 East at Route 28
Monday, August 1, and Wednesday, August 3: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Three lanes will be closed both nights for overhead bridge work.
Braddock Road and Walney Road from Newton Patent Drive to Cabells Mill Drive (over Route 28)
Monday, August 1: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The road will be closed for overhead sign work. Traffic will be directed to Westfields Boulevard to reach Route 28 South, I-66 West, and points on the other side of Route 28.
Ramp from I-66 West to Braddock Road/Walney Road
Monday, August 1: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The ramp will be closed for overhead sign work. Drivers will be directed to stay right to Route 28 North, then travel to the exit to Westfields Boulevard. Drivers traveling to Braddock Road will exit to Westfields Boulevard West and continue to Braddock Road. Drivers traveling to Walney Road will exit to Westfields Boulevard East, and then turn right onto Walney Road.
Ramp from Route 28 North to Braddock Road/Walney Road
Monday, August 1: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The ramp will be closed for overhead sign work. Traffic will be directed to continue farther north on Route 28 to the Westfields Boulevard Interchange. Drivers traveling to Braddock Road will take the exit to Westfields Boulevard West, then continue west to Braddock Road. Drivers traveling to Walney Road will take the exit to Westfields Boulevard East, then turn right onto Walney Road.
Ramp from Route 28 South to I-66 West
Monday night, August 1, through Friday night, August 5: Midnight to 4 a.m.
The ramp will be closed each night for overhead sign installation. Traffic will be directed to continue farther south, exit to Route 29 (Lee Highway) South, travel about one mile, then follow signs to I-66 West.
I-66 West from Stringfellow Road and Route 28
Tuesday, August 2, through Thursday, August 4: 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Three lanes will be closed Tuesday night for overhead sign and bridge work. Drivers should expect periodic stoppages during the overnight hours. On Wednesday and Thursday night, two lanes will be closed both nights for overhead beam installation.
Route 28 North at I-66

The right lane will remain closed to provide an extended merge lane for the ramp from I-66 East to Route 28 North.
ROUTE 286 (FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY) / FAIR LAKES
I-66 East from east of Route 28 to Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway)
Tuesday, August 2: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Two lanes will be closed concrete pour at Stringfellow Road.
Stringfellow Road North and South at I-66
Tuesday, August 2: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Stringfellow Road will be reduced to a single travel lane in each direction for overhead bridge work. Two-way traffic will run on alternating sides of Stringfellow Road during this period.

I-66 East from Route 608 (West Ox Road) to Route 50
Monday, August 1, through Wednesday, August 3: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Three lanes will be closed each night for overhead bridge demolition at Monument Drive.
I-66 West from Jermantown Road to Waples Mill Road
Thursday, August 4, and Friday, August 5: 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Two lanes will be closed both nights for a traffic shift.
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 50 West
Thursday night, August 4, and Friday night, August 5: Midnight to 4 a.m.
The ramp will be closed both nights for a traffic shift. Traffic will be directed to continue farther west to Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) South, stay to the right to I-66 East, then follow signs to Route 50 West.
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 50 West
Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, August 5, continuously through 5 a.m. Monday, August 8
The ramp will be closed for reconstruction. Traffic will be detoured farther east to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) North, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 123 North, stay to the right to I-66 West, then follow signs to Route 50 West.

The right lane will be closed for ramp construction.
Right Turn Lane from Monument Drive North to I-66 East
Ongoing, through September 2
The right turn lane from Monument Drive North to I-66 East will be closed for bridge work. Traffic will be directed farther north to Fair Lakes Parkway, make a U-turn at the traffic signal to head south on Monument Drive. Drivers will then turn left at the traffic signal to the ramp to I-66 East.
Random Hills Road West from Fairfax Hills Way to Monument Drive

Thursday night, August 4: Midnight to 4 a.m.
The ramps will be closed for sign setting. Traffic will be detoured farther east to I-495 North, travel north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, stay to the right to I-495 South, exit to I-66 West, then follow signs to Nutley Street North or South.

The ramp will be closed each night for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) East, travel about one mile, then follow signs to I-66 East.
Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 West
Monday night, August 1, through Friday night, August 5: Midnight to 4 a.m.
The ramp will be closed nightly for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 West, stay to the right to I-495 South, then follow signs to I-66 West.
Ramp from I-66 East to I-495 North
Monday night, August 1, and Tuesday night, August 2: Midnight to 4 a.m.
The ramp will be closed each night for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to I-495 South, take the exit to Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) East, stay to the right to Fairview Park, take the left fork to Fairview Park North, bear left at the traffic signal, then stay to the right following signs to I-495 North.
I-495 South at I-66
Tuesday, August 2, through Thursday, August 4: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Three lanes will be closed nightly for overhead bridge work.

Three lanes will be closed both nights for gantry assembly. Drivers should expect periodic stoppages during the overnight hours.
