ROUTE 29 / GAINESVILLE

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

ROUTE 234 BUSINESS (SUDLEY ROAD) / MANASSAS

I-66 East and West at Bull Run

Monday, Jan. 6, through Friday, Jan. 10: 11 a.m. to noon

Temporary 15-minute stoppages of traffic on I-66 East and West for blasting operations.

Ramp from I-66 West to Route 234 Business North

Friday, Jan. 10 and Saturday, Jan. 11: 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The ramp from I-66 West to northbound Route 234 Business will be closed each night from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. for undergound drainage culvert work.  Traffic will be detoured to the exit for Route 234 Business South, exit to southbound Route 234 Business, then turn right on Covington Drive, turn right on Miramar Drive, turn right on Balls Ford Road, and then turn left at the traffic signal to northbound Route 234 Business.

ROUTE 28 (SULLY ROAD) / CENTREVILLE

I-66 East and West between Route 29 Centreville and Stringfellow Road

Ramp from Route 28 North to I-66 East

Monday, Jan. 6, through Friday, Jan. 10: 11 a.m. to noon

Temporary 15-minute stoppages of traffic on I-66 East and West for blasting operations. Additionally, stoppages will occur on the ramp from Route 28 North to I-66 East.

Route 28 North between Route 29 and I-66

Sunday, Jan. 3, through Thursday, Jan. 9: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Two left lanes closed on northbound Routh 28. Drivers should expect periodic 20-minute stoppages and slowdowns.

Route 28 South Left-Turn Lanes and Ramp to I-66 East

Sunday, Jan. 3, through Thursday, Jan. 9: midnight to 4 a.m.

The ramp and two left turn lanes from Route 28 South to I-66 East will also be closed each night from midnight to 4 a.m. for overhead bridge work.  Traffic will be detoured south on Route 28 to the Route 29 (Lee Highway) interchange, exit to Route 29 North, then stay right to take Route 28 North to the ramp for I-66 East.

Monday, Jan. 6, through Thursday, Jan. 9: midnight to 4 a.m.

The ramp from I-66 East to Route 28 North will be closed for overhead bridge work.  Traffic will be detoured to the exit for Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) North, then stay to the right to follow signs to I-66 West back to Route 28 North.

Ramp from 29 South to I-66 East

Tuesday, Jan. 7: midnight – 4 a.m.

The ramp will be closed for utility work.  Traffic will be directed further south on Route 29, make a u-turn at Stone Road onto northbound Route 29, and stay to the left to turn left on the ramp from Route 29 North to I-66 East.  As an alternative, traffic will also be directed to follow Route 28 North to I-66 East.

ROUTE 286 (FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY)

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

ROUTE 50 / FAIRFAX

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

ROUTE 123 (CHAIN BRIDGE ROAD) / OAKTON – CITY OF FAIRFAX

Ramp from I-66 West to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road)

Tuesday, Jan. 7: Midnight to 4 a.m.

The ramp will be closed for utlity work. Traffic will be detoured farther west to Route 50 East, stay to the left for I-66 East, then follow signs to Route 123.

ROUTE 243 (NUTLEY STREET) / VIENNA

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

I-495 (CAPITAL BELTWAY)

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.
