Upcoming Lane Closures and Traffic Changes

ROUTE 29 / GAINESVILLE

Route 29 North and South between Heathcote Boulevard and University Boulevard

Wednesday, February 27 – Friday, March 1: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Traffic will be temporarily stopped for up to 15 minutes for small charge blasting operations at the future Park and Ride lot.  Additionally, the ramp from I-66 West to Route 29 North (Exit 43B) will be temporarily closed for 15 minutes beginning at 11 a.m.

ROUTE 234 (SUDLEY ROAD) / MANASSAS

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

ROUTE 28 (SULLY ROAD) / CENTREVILLE

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

ROUTE 286 (FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY)

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

ROUTE 50 / FAIRFAX

Ramp from Route 50 West to I-66 West

Wednesday, February 28 – Thursday, February 28: midnight – 4 a.m.

Temporary closure of the ramp from westbound US Route 50 to westbound I-66 between midnight and 4 a.m.  Traffic will be detoured on Route 50 to the West Ox Road (Route 608) interchange, where they will exit onto southbound West Ox Road, and then make a right-hand exit onto eastbound Route 50 to westbound I-66.

ROUTE 123 (CHAIN BRIDGE ROAD) / OAKTON – CITY OF FAIRFAX

Ramp from Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) South to I-66 West

Monday, February 25: midnight – 4 a.m.

Temporary closure of the ramp from southbound Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) to westbound I-66 between midnight and 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to the ramp for I-66 East, stay to the right for Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) North, and then follow signs to I-66 West.

ROUTE 243 (NUTLEY STREET) / VIENNA

No significant traffic impacts scheduled.

I-495 (CAPITAL BELTWAY)
