I-66 West from Route 234 Business to Groveton Road

Single and multi-lane closures will be implemented for extended paving operations. The HOV lane will be closed indefinitely. Between noon and 8 p.m. daily, three travel lanes will be open to traffic. Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly, three lanes will be closed, leaving one travel lane open. Between 6 a.m. and noon daily, two lanes will be closed, leaving two travel lanes open.
I-66 East and West from Route 234 Business to Bull Run Drive

Starting 9 p.m. Friday, August 28, continuously through 5 a.m. Monday, August 31
Route 29 will be reduced to a single travel lane in each direction under I-66 to allow for overhead bridge beam installation. Two-way traffic will run in the northbound lanes of Route 29. Drivers using ramps to and from I-66 will not be allowed to make left turns during this time. During overnight hours each night a flagger will alternate a single lane of traffic in both directions. Monday, August 3, through Friday, September 4: 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Route 29 will be reduced to a single travel lane in each direction under I-66 to allow for overhead bridge beam installation. Two-way traffic will run in the southbound lanes of Route 29. Drivers using ramps to and from I-66 will not be allowed to make left turns during this time.

The ramp will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to I-66 East, to Route 7, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal, then stay to the left and follow signs to I-66 West.
